I bought this shock cord to make boot laces. The shock cord makes it unnecessary to tie knots. A measured length of shock cord is laced through the shoe fastening holes and threaded through a sliding stopper. Put your foot into the shoe, slide the stopper to shorten the lace, and the shoe is fitted tight. Slide the stopper to lengthen the lace, loosen the lace, and you can take your foot out from the shoe. What a convenient mod!
Will buy again, when I need this product
While this was a bit more stiff than I expected, my husband likes it better than the elastic I was using for masks. All in all, it worked out for the best, and I would recommend it for anyone needing something sturdier than standard elastic.
Quality excellent, colors accurate as shown. Because I am using it for masks, I wish it were a little stretchier. Having said that, my machine can sew through it, so that is really not a problem.
