Their hold/grip is weak.

Have not used any of these yet. but I did put some shock cord through the holds and they hold very well. Excellent product, which I have come to expect from Paracord Planet

My husband loves the mask I sewed him at the start of lockdown. I used 2-1/2" jellyroll strips to make the ties and his only complaint was constantly having to retie them as they often came loose. These cord-locks work perfectly. The cord-locks only loosen up when he adjusts them and it's made adjusting them so much easier.

This is something I greatly over looked when I bought them. I presumed that because there were two holes there would be two springs. Indeed there is only 1 spring as a result you don't get even tension between your two cords. The paracord I put through doesn't hold tension on both sides, the top piece leans to one side or the other. Really not what I was expecting. I should have looked for a single hole design

Nice size, good tension on the spring, and you really can't beat the price. I ordered white, so I can't speak to the colors XD

Works for draw string bags etc!

I purchased these to secure paracord for homemade cloth facemasks. They work perfectly, laying flat against the crown of the head and holding the mask snuggly but allowing for easy donning/doffing and adjustment. The only hitch was that two of them were crushed in transit (shipped in unpadded envelope). Paracord Planet promptly replaced them and sent extras. Great product and customer service!
